Affiliate Marketing Success

I'm a full time affiliate marketer. That means I make my living working from home without selling any products myself. All I do is refer people to other sites where I can earn a commission if they buy something from that site. Sounds pretty cool doesn't it? It is.

But I don't mean to say it's totally easy either. It's not always easy. I have had a lot of failures. Luckily the few successes I have had have made up for all of those failures! That's the great thing about affiliate marketing, I can fail 9 times out of 10 and still make a bundle of money. It just takes some preserverence to keep on trying even when something doesn't work the first 9 times.

One of the biggest issues is finding products to promote. It can be difficult finding an affiliate program or affiliate network that is really trustworthy as far as paying for all of the commissions you make and it's even more hard to find a product that you can promote successfully.

There are a couple of different ways you can go about choosing a product to promote. One is just looking for the products that pay out the most and try to figure out a way to make sales even if you don't know anything about the product. I don't really recommend this method. You may have some success with it, but probably not.

Another way is to choose to promote products in area that you know about. For example if you know a lot about dogs then maybe you could set up a site promoting dog related products. It will be easier for you to make sales because you'll be able to promote in a knowledgeable way.

Once you find the affiliate network that's right for what you want to do then you can get started right away. And I should mention that all reputable affiliate networks & programs are absolutely free to join. If you see one that is asking you for money to join you can assume that they are a scam of some sort.
